1. When can I start using my Discovery Membership?
A. You can start making reservations as soon as your Discovery Membership transmits (‘Transmission Date’). The Transmission Date for your Discovery Membership will be within 12 calendar days of the Purchase Date and you will be notified by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific once this occurs.
However, please note reservations may only be made where check-in dates occur after the Travel Activation Date. The Travel Activation Date will be within 12 calendar days of Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific receiving either:
- the full payment amount of the Discovery Membership purchase price; or
- if you have chosen to pay by instalments, the date Wyndham Vacation Destinations Pacific receives your Threshold Amount, which is a minimum payment (exclusive of GST and an administration fee) of:
- AUD$1,100 for Discovery Memberships purchased in Australian Dollars; or
- NZD$1,350 for Discovery Memberships purchased in New Zealand Dollars.
2. How long do I have to use my Discovery Credits?
A. Discovery Credits must be used within 12 months from Travel Activation Date or else will expire.
The Travel Activation Date will be within 12 calendar days of Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific receiving either:
- the full payment amount of the Discovery Membership purchase price; or
- if you have chosen to pay by instalments, the date Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific receives your Threshold Amount, which is a minimum payment (exclusive of GST and an administration) of:

3. How long is my Discovery Membership active for?
A. Your Discovery Membership remains active for 24 months from Travel Activation Date, even you have used all of your Discovery Credits on amazing holidays. However, Discovery Credits must be used within 12 months from Travel Activation Date or else will expire.
The Travel Activation Date will be within 12 calendar days of Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific receiving either:
- the full payment amount of the Discovery Membership purchase price; or

1. What resorts can I stay at with my Discovery Membership?
A. With your Discovery Membership, you are able to stay at a selection of the resorts available to WorldMark South Pacific Club Owners. As these resorts may change from time to time, please refer to the Resort page of this website for current destinations.
2. Why can’t I stay at all of the resorts in the WorldMark South Pacific Club with my Discovery Membership?
A. As a trial program, your Discovery Membership is designed to allow you to experience some of the amazing resorts, destinations and benefits that would otherwise only be available to WorldMark South Pacific Club Owners. This enables you to make an informed choice about whether or not you would like to join the Club during your Discovery Membership term. One of the benefits of a WorldMark Ownership is access to all current and future resorts in the Club.
3. What types of apartments can I stay in with my Discovery Membership?
A. With your Discovery Membership, you may choose from a range of apartment types, including:
- Studio or Hotel Room and 1, 2 3 and 4 Bedroom Apartments
- Standard, Deluxe, Sky, Grand and Presidential

4. How many people can stay in a resort apartment?
A. The number of persons, including children of any age, which may occupy a resort apartment, in most cases, is as follows:

5.What facilities are available at resorts?
A. Facilities available at each resort available in the Discovery Program vary from resort to resort. For more information, please refer to Resort Facilities.
1. How do I make Discovery reservations?
A. Easy! Simply decide where and when you’d like to holiday and then contact your Discovery Specialist Team via the phone or email to assist you with making your holiday dreams come true.
2. How far in advance can I make Discovery reservations?
A. You have a 12-month booking window to make reservations at selected resorts.
3. How do I know how many Discovery Credits will be required for a reservation?
A. Each resort available in the Discovery Program has its own unique Credit Charts and Seasonality, which may be accessed via your Discovery Program Guide or each individual resort page on this website.
To work out how many Discovery Credits you will require for a booking, simply:
- Choose your resort location;
- Choose your season;
- Choose your room type; and
- Choose the nights of the week.
Should you have any problems at all, simply contact your Discovery Specialist Team and they can calculate it for you!
4. Are there any minimum night stay requirements for Discovery reservations?
A. To ensure all Discovery Members are able to get the most out of their Discovery Memberships, the following guidelines apply, which are explained further here.
- A minimum seven-night stay is required during Red Season 1 and 2 when reservations are made more than nine months in advance;
- Different rules apply to Red Season 3 to 9;
- There is no seven-night minimum stay in White or Blue seasons;
- A minimum two-night stay is required on weekends when staying either a Friday OR Saturday night; and
- Only one Friday AND Saturday two-night booking ‘Weekend Only’ may be reserved on a Discovery Membership at any one time for each full block of 6,000 Discovery Credits held
For example, a Discovery Membership with 20,000 Discovery Credits would be able to have three ‘Weekend-Only’ reservations at any one time on the account.
5. Am I able to book multiple rooms at the same resort at the same time?
A. Yes, you may book multiple rooms at the same resort at the same time for friends and family to enjoy so long as you as the Discovery Member(s) are also present at the time of check-in for all reservations and for the duration of the resort stay.
6. Can I request a special needs or ground floor apartment?
A. Special needs or ground floor apartments are available at some resorts. If you require a special needs apartment, please advise of this when booking. We will try and accommodate your request wherever possible, however this is not guaranteed. We strive to offer accommodation that is accessible to individuals with disabilities. We will work with you to ensure that you have all the necessary information before booking your holiday.
7. Why can’t I get into the resorts I want on the dates I want?
A. All Discovery reservations are on a first in, first served basis and are subject to availability. To make the most of your Discovery Membership, we encourage you to plan your holidays in advance whenever possible, particularly during peak periods such as Christmas, Easter, school and public holidays.
Take advantage of the 12-month booking window for Discovery reservations and the waitlist option to provide more flexibility with your preferred destinations, travel dates and apartment options.
8. Can I waitlist for reservations?
A. You sure can! If your desired resort, travel dates or apartment type is not available when you make a reservation request, you may request a waitlist, which constantly searches availability up to two weeks prior to your desired arrival date at your desired resort. Should there be a cancellation that matches your request, you will be notified by phone or email.

9. Can I make reservations or view my Discovery Membership details online?
A. Online access to account information and online reservations are not benefits of a Discovery Membership. These are available should you decide to convert to a WorldMark South Pacific Club Ownership during the term of your Discovery Membership.
10. Can I sell or rent my Discovery reservations?
A. Confirmed Discovery reservations are not to be sold or rented to a third party and failure to comply with any conditions in the Discovery Program Guidelines may result in a reservation being cancelled and Discovery Credits forfeited.
11. What happens if I don’t have enough Discovery Credits left to make a reservation?
A. If you have really enjoyed your Discovery Membership and utilised nearly all of your Discovery Credits to stay at the selected WorldMark South Pacific Club resorts, you may not have quite enough Discovery Credits left to complete one last reservation. This is where Rental Credits come in handy!
Rental Credits may be purchased to complete a reservation if made in conjunction with Discovery Credits and are for one-time use. For the current Rental Credit rates, please contact your Discovery Specialist Team.
12. Can I use Rental Credits as payment for an entire reservation?
A. Rental Credits can only be used in conjunction with Discovery Credits and may not be used as a standalone method of payment.
1. Is parking free at resorts in the Discovery Program?
A. City-based properties such as Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, may incur car parking fees. You will be advised of the costs at time of making your reservation. All other resort locations provide complimentary car parking, however there may be some limitations with the number of spaces available and it is always best to check the resort information on your confirmation letter prior to arrival.
2. How many parking spaces do I have access to per apartment?
A. Each apartment will have one car space allocated per apartment for the duration of the stay, subject to availability. To find out more, please enquire with your Discovery Specialist Team when you make your reservation. Alternatively, you may contact the resort directly.
3. Is there parking available for my boat or caravan?
A. Resort car parking will generally only accommodate a standard size car, station wagon or 4WD. To find out more, please enquire with your Discovery Specialist Team when you make your reservation. 4. Is there guest parking at resorts in the Discovery Program?

5. Are there parking height limitations?
A. Under ground or under cover carparks do have height restrictions. To find out the exact height please enquire with your Discovery Specialist Team when you make your reservation. Alternatively, you may contact the resort directly to find out if they are able to accommodate your needs.
1. Can I make reservations for friends and family?
A. As a trial program, the Discovery Membership is designed to allow you to personally experience resort stays at selected resorts. Unless otherwise authorised by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, only those persons registered on your Discovery Membership are authorised to:
- make reservations; and
- check-in for reservations with a reservation confirmation and suitable identification, such as a driver’s licence.
Family and friends are welcome to join you during a resort stay provided you are present at the time of check-in for all reservations and for the duration of the resort stay.
2. Can my partner make reservations on my behalf?
A. If your partner is also registered on your Discovery Membership, they most certainly can! If they are not, you will need to add them to your Discovery Membership to allow them to make reservations and enquiries regarding your Discovery Membership and applicable fees may apply.
3. Can I add another person to my Discovery Membership?
A. You most certainly can! Simply contact your Discovery Team and they will assist you further.
Administration fees will apply when transferring, adding or removing a Member to or from your Discovery Membership after the date of sale.
