Tropical Cyclone Winston passed through Fiji on the evening of Saturday, 20 February. Due to damage incurred country-wide, a 30-day state of natural disaster is in place to allow clean up efforts to take place.
I am pleased to report that our staff and the WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham Owners staying at the resort were all unharmed. The resort sustained only superficial damage – debris around the grounds and some water damaged rooms. There was no disruption to water supply.
After three days of heavy rain, flood waters have started to recede and sunshine is returning to beautiful Fiji.
