First TRYP by Wyndham Hotel Launched in Adelaide

Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific to manage new TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide, the urban brand's first property in South Australia

ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA (JULY 2019) – Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchisor and leading provider of hotel management services with approximately 9,200 hotels worldwide, has announced its first TRYP by Wyndham hotel in South Australia with the signing of TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide.


The hotel will be managed by Resort Management by Wyndham, a subsidiary of Wyndham Destinations, which currently manages 63 properties across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and Europe.

The 124-room hotel will be developed by Ginos Group and will feature a mix of contemporary hotel rooms and suites along with an elevated lounge area, two restaurants, two bars and meeting rooms. The development will also house commercial office space, which will be accessed via a separate entrance.

Site works on the $35 million development are expected to begin in October this year, and the hotel is slated to open in the first quarter of 2021.

The new hotel will be the fourth TRYP by Wyndham hotel announced for Australia, joining TRYP by Wyndham Fortitude Valley in Brisbane which opened in 2014 and two more properties in southeast Queensland - TRYP by Wyndham North Lakes and TRYP by Wyndham Southport - are both scheduled to start development later in the year.
