Club Wyndham Denarau Island Celebrates Major Milestones

DENARAU ISLAND, FIJI (27 SEPTEMBER, 2019) – Club Wyndham Denarau Island in Fiji is celebrating some major milestones this week with its 1,000th five-star review on TripAdvisor coming at the same time as a $900,000 production kitchen and staff dining facility upgrade is unveiled.

The new production kitchen and staff dining facility, which caters to 300 employees, will enhance the resort’s food and beverage offering, while also providing nutritious meals for the team.

“Our staff are the heart and soul of Club Wyndham Denarau Island and it’s because of them that on our 1,500th review we’ve also received our 1,000th five-star review,” said Assistant Resort Manager Wesley Biutanaseva.

“Many of our team members have been with the resort for years and have seen owners’ and guests’ families grow, forming a unique bond that enhances all our repeat guests’ stays. We are committed to looking after our people, who are the heart and soul of the property, and providing healthy, balanced meals in a communal space is just one of the ways we show our appreciation.”  

The multi-award winning Club Wyndham Denarau Island is one of the largest and most popular resorts in Club Wyndham South Pacific, the region’s largest timeshare club with close to 60,000 members and 51 resorts across Asia Pacific and Europe.

It boasts five food and beverage outlets including Mamacita Restaurant & Bar, The Beach Shack Bar and Grill, Dua Tale Bar and Bistro, Club Maravu and the Latte Lounge.

It was recently named Fiji’s Best Deluxe Accommodation at the 2019 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards and the Resort of the Year at the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) Awards in Australia.
